Five Brass Crabs

Group of five highly detailed crabs, brass with patina, early XX Century. Size ranging between 6 and 1,5cm.The crabs are finely crafted and richly patinated, showcasing an exceptional realism and attention to detail characteristic of traditional okimono metalwork. Each crab is individually crafted, with articulated legs and claws, and intricate surface textures replicating natural shell patterns. These small sculptures were created not just as decorative pieces but as demonstrations of technical mastery in bronze and brass casting.
